What About Learning Jazz Standards?

I have a teacher to recommend for you if you want to study jazz on the harmonica. My method, at this point, is about learning the basics of how the instrument is tuned, playing scales/arpeggios in multiple keys, and improvisation over the blues or funk tunes. I will point you to the astonishing Yvonnick Prene’s harmonica instruction website. He is offering subscriptions at this time for $19 a month and his instruction is outstanding.

I do have a personal goal of developing my own musicianship and repertoire and intend to sign up for his site myself. I had a private lesson with him in NYC and found it to be helpful and inspiring. https://harmonicastudio.yvonnickprene.com/harmonica-studio-memberships/
