If you are a student of my improvising harmonica courses we learned the dorian scale but there are three other minor scales that are equally important especially if you want to play songs that are in a minor tonality.

In this course of study, which is presented as an ebook pdf with video commentary, we learn about four different scale types:

  1. Dorian
  2. Natural Minor (Aeolian)
  3. Harmonic Minor
  4. Melodic Minor

I will give you practice strategies to learn and memorize these scales in the minor keys of F, C, G, D, A, and E.

As an improvising musician, these scales will give you new colors to work with and help you to better navigate various chord progressions. If you are not an improviser these scales will still serve to increase your dexterity on the harmonica no matter what style of music you play.

If you want to take a bold step in growing as a musician, don’t hesitate to order this course today to begin a new season of discipline in your practice studio!
